We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office IT/DevOps professional to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the office IT infrastructure to ensure that all systems and hardware are functioning optimally. Additionally, you will work closely with the development team to ensure that our development and deployment processes are streamlined and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain all hardware and software systems, including computers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Provide technical support to office staff and troubleshoot and resolve any IT-related issues.
- Manage the company's IT security, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and backup systems.
- Work with the development team to ensure that development and deployment processes are efficient and streamlined.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data security.
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and services, including email, file sharing, and other cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the availability and stability of IT systems and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or DevOps.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization, networking, and cloud-based systems and services.
- Experience with DevOps tools and processes, including version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and experience implementing and managing IT security systems.
