How TIOmarkets Makes Money

At TIOmarkets, we aim to be clear about the costs involved when you trade with us

TIOmarkets earns revenue primarily through trading spreads, commissions on certain account types, and overnight swap charges. Like most brokers, these trading costs allow us to provide access to global financial markets, trading platforms, liquidity, and client support services.

Trading fees

When you trade with TIOmarkets, your costs may come from several areas:

  • Spreads - the difference between the buy price and sell price of an instrument.
  • Commissions - a trading fee that may apply on certain account types.
  • Swaps - a credit or debit that may apply when you keep a position open overnight.

Farklar

The spread is the difference between the buy price and the sell price of a trading instrument.

When you open and close a trade, the spread forms part of your trading cost. Spreads can vary depending on market conditions, liquidity, volatility, the instrument being traded, and the account type used.

TIOmarkets offers different account types with different spread conditions. Some accounts have wider spreads and no separate commission, while others may offer tighter spreads with a commission.

You can view the latest available spread information on our spreads and account comparison pages.

Komisyonlar

Some trading account types may include a trading commission.

A commission is a fee charged when you trade certain instruments or use certain account types. Where applicable, the commission is usually based on your trade size.

For example, accounts with lower spreads may include a separate commission, while other accounts may have no separate commission but wider spreads.

Before opening an account, you should compare our account types and choose the pricing structure that best fits your trading style.

Takaslar

A swap is a credit or debit that may apply when you keep a position in the market open overnight.

Whether a swap is credited or debited to your open position depends on the instrument, the size of your position, the direction of your trade, and current market interest rates. Every currency is associated with an interest rate determined by its respective central bank, and these rates may change over time.

We apply a small markup on these interest rates.

Dormancy fee

If an account remains inactive for an extended period, a dormancy fee may apply.

This is because inactive accounts still require administration, maintenance, and safeguarding.

An account is considered inactive when:

  • there are no open positions, and
  • no trades have been placed for the last 3 months.

If your account becomes inactive, a dormancy fee of USD 30 per month will apply.

Dormancy fees help cover the administrative and operational costs associated with maintaining inactive accounts. Clients who do not plan to trade for an extended period may choose to withdraw unused funds at any time.

Fees not retained by TIOmarkets

Funding and trading inactivity fees may apply in specific situations. However, TIOmarkets does not make money from these.

In most cases, we either absorb payment processing fees when you deposit and withdraw the minimum amount or cover these costs by passing them on to you.

For example, fees may apply in situations such as:

  • Deposit below the minimum amount.
  • Withdrawals below the minimum amount.
  • Withdrawals without any trading activity.
  • Crypto withdrawals, where network or processing costs may apply.

Our objective is to keep funding efficient, reliable and cost-effective for everyone.

Why Transparency matters

Understanding trading costs is an important part of risk management. We believe traders should know exactly how pricing works before opening an account or placing a trade.
