TIOmarkets Review (2026): Fees, Platforms, Pros & Cons
BY TIOmarkets
|February 24, 2026TIOmarkets is a multi-asset CFD broker offering access to forex, indices, stocks, commodities, and futures markets through the MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. Founded in 2019, the broker has grown to serve clients in more than 170 countries.
This review covers the key areas traders typically evaluate when assessing a broker: regulation, account types, trading fees, platforms, deposits and withdrawals, and available instruments. Where conditions are subject to change or vary by instrument, that is noted directly.
Regulation
TIOmarkets operates through TIO Markets Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA), licence number T2023224.
Traders should review the regulatory framework and applicable client protections for their jurisdiction before opening an account.
Account Types
TIOmarkets offers multiple account types designed to suit different trading styles and experience levels. The main accounts are Standard, Raw, and VIP Black. A Nano account is also available.
Standard account The Standard account carries no trading commission. Spreads start from 1.1 pips. The minimum deposit is USD 20, or the currency equivalent. This account is a straightforward starting point for traders who prefer a simple cost structure without a separate commission component.
Raw account The Raw account offers spreads starting from 0.0 pips, with a fixed commission of $6 per round-turn standard lot. The minimum deposit is USD 250, or the currency equivalent. This structure tends to be more cost-efficient for traders executing at higher volumes, where the tighter spread outweighs the commission.
VIP Black account The VIP Black account offers spreads from 0.3 pips with no commission. The minimum deposit is USD 1,000, or the currency equivalent. This account combines the low-spread characteristics of the Raw account with the zero-commission structure of the Standard.
Nano account The Nano account carries a $6 commission per round-turn lot. Traders interested in the Nano account should review the full conditions on the TIOmarkets website.
All accounts are available in multiple base currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, ZAR, and AED. Both MT4 and MT5 are available across all account types.
Fees and Trading Costs
Spreads
All spreads at TIOmarkets are variable and sourced from the broker's liquidity providers. They are tighter during normal market conditions and periods of high liquidity, and can widen during high volatility, low liquidity, or around major news events. Indicative spread levels by account type:
| Account | Spread from | Commission |
| Standard | 1.1 pips | $0 |
| Raw | 0.0 pips | $6 per round-turn lot |
| VIP Black | 0.3 pips | $0 |
| Nano | Variable | $6 per round-turn lot |
These figures represent indicative minimums under normal conditions. Actual traded spreads will differ. Live indicative pricing is available on the spreads page at tiomarkets.com.
Swaps
Positions held overnight are subject to swap charges or credits. TIOmarkets considers the close of the trading day to be 22:00 GMT, which corresponds to the close of business New York time. Swaps are credited or debited to open positions at this time daily. Wednesdays typically carry a triple swap to account for the weekend rollover, though the triple swap day can vary depending on the instrument. Current swap rates are available in the contract specifications within the MT4 or MT5 platform.
An Islamic (swap-free) account option is available for eligible traders on eligible instruments. Traders who require this should contact TIOmarkets support after registration.
Non-trading fees
Deposit fees are zero for amounts of USD 20 or more, with TIOmarkets covering payment processor charges. A dormancy fee of USD 30 per month applies to accounts that have had no open positions and no trading activity for three consecutive months. A processing fee of USD 25 may apply in certain withdrawal circumstances, including withdrawing without having traded, withdrawing less than USD 20, or withdrawing in cryptocurrency after a fiat deposit.
Platforms
TIOmarkets provides access to MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Both platforms are available as desktop applications, via web browser, and on mobile, allowing traders to monitor and manage positions from any device.
MT4 was designed for forex and CFD trading and is widely used for its simplicity and broad compatibility with automated trading tools, including Expert Advisors (EAs) and custom scripts. MT5 is a more recent multi-asset platform that includes additional order types, a built-in economic calendar, and expanded technical analysis tools compared to MT4.
Both platforms support automated strategies via EAs. Traders using the unlimited leverage feature should note that automated EA-based strategies are not compatible with it; a standard margin account is required for EA trading.
Instruments
TIOmarkets offers access to more than 300 instruments across five markets: forex, indices, stocks, commodities, and futures. The forex range covers major, minor, and exotic currency pairs. Indices include benchmarks from the US, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Stock CFDs cover major global companies. Commodities include metals, energy, and agricultural products. Index futures are also available.
Not all instruments are available across all account types. Traders should confirm availability within their specific account.
