What are contract specifications?
Contract specifications refer to various parameters and outline the terms associated with a particular instrument or asset class. They essentially dictate the trading conditions and help traders understand the nuances between markets and how trades will be executed on the platform.
Where to find the contract specifications
- Go to the Market Watch window in the MT4 or MT5 trading platforms.
- Right-click on the financial instrument (symbol).
- Select Specification from the menu that appears.
- The symbol description window will open where you can find all the specifications for that instrument.
