The foundations of our success
Our journey began in 2019 with the establishment of TIO Markets Holdings which soon gave rise to TIO Markets UK Ltd. A company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 06592025 and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA license number 488900).
TIO Markets Ltd, an international business company, was also registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with registration number 24986.
During 2019, we continued to learn, envolve and add moreassetsto provide a more complete trading solution. This is when we decided to fully transition to the popular MT4 and MT5trading platforms. Due to their simplicity, better bridging solutions and greater access to liquidity providers.
By the end of 2019, we launched our very own dividend paying digital currency linked to the revenue generated from trading activity on the platform. The initial coin offering raised $31 million and we have paid out over $1 million in dividends to investors since.
By around the end of 2020 the total number of registered users exceeded 50,000.

In 2022, we transitioned to a new web technology with enhanced security and encryption features and faster page loading capabilities. As part of the transition to the new web platform, we began redesigning the website.

TIOmarkets EU acquires theCySEC licenceunder registration number HE 399709 for operations within the EU and adheres to CySEC regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with strict financial standards such as capital adequacy and audit requirements. We are dedicated to maintaining rigorous management discipline and implementing top-notch controls within our compliance framework.
We introduced the ability to trade withunlimited leverage,as well as adding 5 new indices to our trading platform.
The new Nano account was added to our trading accounts line up. This account type is ideal for risk averse traders or traders who prefer to bypass the demo account to gain real market experience with the smallest lot sizes.
We introduced tighter average spreads and generally reduced the cost of executing trades on our platform. A new Raw spread account was added to ourtrading accountsline up, enabling our clients to trade on raw variable spreads directly from our liquidity providers.
